Privacy Policy – Brad Shipway Property (2026)

Oct 12, 2026

  1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This policy explains how Brad Shipway Property (The Shipway Team) collects, uses, stores and discloses your personal information. We aim to handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We operate under Harcourts Pinnacle, 1331 Gympie Road, Aspley QLD 4034. Phone 0409 652 271. Email [email protected].

This policy covers information collected through www.bradshipway.com, our forms, landing pages, phone, SMS, email, social media, open homes, appraisals and in-person dealings. Harcourts Pinnacle's own privacy policy also applies to information handled by the agency.

  1. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to provide real estate services. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:

  1. Contact details: name, phone, email, postal and property address.
  2. Property information: details of a property you own, are selling or are interested in, including photos, features, condition and sales history.
  3. Enquiry and preference details: what you're looking for, budget range, timing, and notes from our conversations.
  4. Communication records: emails, SMS, call logs, form submissions and chat messages.
  5. Website and device data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring site, cookie identifiers and form activity.
  6. Public and third-party data: property records, sales data and market information from providers such as CoreLogic/RP Data, PriceFinder, realestate.com.au and Domain.

We don't intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health, religion or political views). If you give it to us, we'll only use it for the purpose you provided it.

  1. How we collect it

Mostly directly from you: when you fill in a form on our website (appraisal requests, buyer surveys, calculators), call, text or email us, attend an open home, or meet with us.

We also collect information from public records, property data providers, Harcourts systems, referrals and social media platforms (for example, Facebook and Instagram lead forms). If we collect information about you from someone else, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.

  1. How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  1. respond to enquiries and provide appraisals and price estimates
  2. market, sell and manage the sale of property
  3. match buyers with suitable properties, including off-market opportunities
  4. send follow-ups, market updates, newsletters and property alerts
  5. identify property owners who may be interested in selling
  6. improve our website, services and advertising
  7. meet our legal obligations, including under Queensland property laws and anti-money-laundering rules

We won't sell or rent your personal information.

  1. Use of artificial intelligence and automated tools

We use artificial intelligence (AI) and automated software to help us work more efficiently and respond faster. A person from our team remains responsible for every decision that matters to you.

What we use AI for

  1. drafting and personalising emails, SMS and marketing content
  2. summarising enquiries, call notes and conversations
  3. analysing property and market data to prepare appraisals and market updates
  4. scoring and prioritising properties or contacts to help us decide who to contact about selling
  5. answering simple website or message enquiries through automated or AI-assisted chat, and booking appointments

Information used

These tools may process your contact details, property details, enquiry and preference information, communication history, and public property and sales data.

Automated decisions

We do not make decisions that significantly affect your rights or interests solely by automated means. Automated tools may perform functions substantially and directly related to these kinds of decisions:

  1. which follow-up messages you receive and when
  2. which properties or contacts we prioritise for prospecting
  3. the indicative price range in an appraisal, which is always reviewed by us before it's given to you

AI providers

The AI tools we use are supplied by third parties, which may process data on servers outside Australia (see section 7). We choose providers and settings that don't use your personal information to train their public AI models, where that option is available. We don't enter sensitive information or government identification documents into AI tools.

Your choices

You can ask to speak with a person at any time, ask us what information we used in relation to you, or opt out of automated follow-ups by replying STOP or contacting us.

  1. Our CRM and communications platform (GoHighLevel)

We use GoHighLevel (also known as LeadConnector), a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation platform operated by HighLevel Inc. in the United States.

When you submit a form on our website or contact us, your details are stored in this platform. We use it to:

  1. store your contact details, property details, notes and communication history
  2. send automated and scheduled emails and SMS, including post-appraisal follow-ups and market updates
  3. track email opens, link clicks, form submissions and page visits on our landing pages
  4. manage calls, voicemails, appointment bookings and reminders
  5. run AI-assisted features such as message drafting, conversation summaries and chat or SMS replies

Data in this platform is stored and processed on servers in the United States. HighLevel Inc. acts as our service provider and handles your information under its own privacy and security terms. Messaging may also pass through its carriers and email delivery partners.

Marketing messages and opting out

We only send marketing emails and SMS where you've consented or would reasonably expect them, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every message identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe. Reply STOP to any SMS or click unsubscribe in any email, and we'll stop within five business days. We also respect the Do Not Call Register.

  1. Who we share it with, including overseas

We may disclose your information to:

  1. Harcourts Pinnacle and the Harcourts network
  2. buyers, sellers, solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and lenders involved in a transaction
  3. property portals (realestate.com.au, Domain) and marketing suppliers (photographers, sign writers, printers)
  4. IT, CRM, AI, website hosting, analytics and advertising providers
  5. government agencies or others where the law requires or permits it

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States (for example GoHighLevel, Google, Meta and our AI tool providers). We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas providers protect your information in a way consistent with the APPs.

  1. Website, cookies and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Ads remarketing and the Meta Pixel. These help us understand how visitors use the site and show our ads to people who've visited it. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner on our site, your browser settings, Google Ad Settings and your Facebook ad preferences.

  1. Storage and security

We store information in secure cloud systems with password protection, access controls and two-factor authentication where available. We keep information only as long as needed for our services and legal record-keeping, then delete or de-identify it.

If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

  1. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us using the details in section 1. We'll respond within 30 days. If we can't give you access, we'll explain why.

  1. Complaints

If you're concerned about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

  1. Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year and when our practices or the law change, including the automated decision-making rules commencing 10 December 2026. The latest version is always on this page.
